Hello! I'm Cooky.

I am a multidisciplinary artist based in SCOTLAND. I have been drawing and painting since I was first able to hold a pencil and paintbrush as a child. I initially got into digital mediums around age 11, and from then sought out to make a career out of my love for both digital and traditional art.  ​

After studying Multimedia and Digital Animation at University, I worked in industry for 15 years as a 3D Animator and Artist. I decided to share my passion and experience to future artists and slowly moved into academia where I spent 6 years lecturing in Digital Animation and traditional drawing.

 

I am now back to pursuing my own perspective and curiosities through my own art. I love designing worlds and characters and take inspiration from the things that interest me the most, the natural world and all the sciences! This site is a place to share both my traditional and digital artwork in the different mediums, techniques and styles I enjoy exploring.
